Leaving Samson’s after a restful night, we headed to the French Ancestors Route, where we boondocked at Park Boutte du Cap, which means “end of the Cape”. This park has a traditional bread oven where one can experience demonstrations and bread tastings during the summer months starting in July. While there, we were able to sample some delicious bread, made by Brandon, who was a joy to speak with. The bread was absolutely delicious!
The day was very windy, and lasted well into the night. UdaVAN was a jostled around a bit, but we didn’t mind. We were treated to a wonderful sunset, ending a perfect day at such a beautiful spot.
Next up, Gros Morne National Park
