We reached the northern terminus of the Appalachian Mountain Range in L’Anse aux Meadows, Newfoundland. Near the Viking Village, we celebrated with a glass of “Viking Blod”, a gift from our dear friend, Catherine – very tasty, and quite intoxicating!
After our visit to L’Anse aux Meadows, we opted to have a late afternoon meal at Café Nymphe Bistro in Saint Lunaire-Griquet. As per our visit there last year, the meal, staff, and environment did not disappoint. The food was nothing short of delicious!
We will soon head to Labrador for the next section of our journey, where we will have no cell service for a couple of weeks.
Travel often, stay safe, well, and joyous!
