Our next adventure is off the Appalachian path, where we travelled to see WaterFire in Providence, RI. Having visited WaterFire twice before in years past, both visits were peaceful and meditative in nature, which we thoroughly enjoyed. This visit, however, was a bit too much of a party atmosphere for our taste, likely due to the fact this was the 500th lighting of WaterFire.
One thing we did enjoy while in Providence was having a burger and steak fries from There, There. The Oklahoma Burger was delicious! If you are ever in Providence, RI and are hungry for a burger, be sure to visit There, There, but don’t hesitate to visit WaterFire. It is one of southern New England’s better outdoor events.
