A ride in Moosehorn

Today’s joyous vagary was a ride around Moosehorn National Wildlife Refuge, Baring Division. A perfect day for a ride – sunny, a light breeze, and temps in the 70’s.

Aside from bees, butterflies, dragonflies, and a plethora of deer flies, the only wildlife seen today was a ruffed grouse that flew across the path. A rather large number of deer flies kept pace throughout the duration of the ride, but deer fly bites were completely evaded!

All in all, this was a very enjoyable 11.1 mile out and back ride today!
